Birthday Girl

We spent Christmas of 2003 in Cleveland with only our little family of 3.  It seemed strange to be without our extended family...Mommy even had the stomach flu.  We were waiting for our new baby girl to arrive.  On December 26th, it was all worth it...Kaitlin Nicole arrived late that evening.  From the moment I saw her, my adjective for her was sweet....she was so very sweet....and had a full head of dark hair.  We were immediately in love.

Our Christmas baby turned 6 on December 26th.  She is still so very sweet... and she is fun with a great giggle...and 'spunky' and sensitive and a great artist.  She loves fashion and is full of surprises.  She is in Kindergarten...how is that possible?

She woke up on her birthday in St. Louis to birthday pancakes with a candle and a birthday crown, boa and flashing pin.  She had a lunch party with Grandma and Grandpa H.  She requested 'Grandpa's noodles' and 'dreamy bread' for lunch.  After lunch, we drove to Indiana and arrived around 8pm to another birthday party with Grandma and Grandpa B and Aunt Fawn and Uncle Tony.  Katie wanted to save our family celebration for when we came home and her friend party for January...smart girl...spreading out the fun.

Happy Birthday Katie!  We love you!!

Happy Birthday, Katie! The first thing Grace said that morning is 'Today is Katie's birthday. I wonder if she should call and wish her a happy birthday.' I'm glad she had a great day!
