Emmie is almost 10

Emmmie will be turning double digits on July 5th. Double digits! I can't believe it. We had her party early because that week is always a busy one for everyone. For her party, she invited a few friends and we spent the night at a hotel. It was very fun! First, we picked up pizza and ate dinner in our room. Then, we headed to the pool (with a stop in the exercise room first, ha) and hot tub. After that the girls had dessert and opened gifts followed by a movie and slumber party fun. In the morning we went to the breakfast buffet which was a highlight for them.

Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school...hard to believe.  Emmie will be moving on to 5th grade and Katie to 2nd grade.  Allie will also be in Kindergarten next year.  It will be the one year all 3 of them will be in the same school.  :)  After their half day today, we went to a class party for Katie's class and then to the pool.  Emmie is at a slumber party tonight with her friends.

Here are 2 pics from the first day of school and then a pic from this morning.  This is all they would let me take this morning on their way out the door.  I can really see a difference looking at the close up from the first day of school...they have both grown up so much this year.  I'm almost shocked how much younger their faces look in that picture.  Sniff, sniff...

Alie is 5!

Allie turned 5 on May 12th.  I simply can't believe it...such a big girl now!  This year she had her party at Ben & Jerry's.  There were 17 girls total and it was crazy!!  Allie had a blast!  They dipped and decorated waffle cones, chose their flavor of ice cream, played guess that ice cream flavor, took a tour of the store including going in the freezer and then opened presents.  This was one wild bunch!
