Will & His 'Nursery'

I never posted pics of Will's nursery before he was born because all of the items hadn't come yet.  I kept meaning to take pictures and I think I even tried once.  Anyway, now that he is almost 2 1/2, I figured it was time.  He is getting ready to move on to a big boy bed and it is time for his room to do a little growing up...sniff sniff.  The funny thing is that he never really actually slept in his crib...or even his room really....which is totally fine with this mommy.  :) 

Anyway, today I was able to document Will in his room exactly as I wanted to...we had fun playing together upstairs.  When we were done and downstairs he actually asked me if we could go back up and play and take pictures again.  Sweet boy.  Every single day I am reminded of how wonderful and sweet and perfect this little guy is...we are so lucky.  There are more to come but I'm posting what I have for now.

Katie Pics

Today was a beautiful day so we spent 2 hours playing outside after school.  I was taking pictures in the back while everyone was playing on the swing set (those to come soon) and then we went around front to play.  Katie decided to start modeling for me.  She always asks me to take pictures of her and of course I love to...and she comes up with these poses and expressions on her own.  I had a wide angle lens on so they're distorted but I actually kind of like the look.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today we went to Allie's party in the morning and Katie and Emmie's parties in the afternoon.  After school we decorated the table for a family candle light dinner.  Everyone had a balloon at the chair and a flashing red rose (ha...courtesy of the Dollar Store).  Everyone had made cards for everyone else.  Rich brought home each of them a pack of seeds that they will be planting with him this spring.  As he gave them to him he explained why he had chosen each pack for them.  Allie received sweet peas because we sometimes call her sweet pea.  Katie received some hot pink zinnias because she loves that color.  Emmie received morning glories because she isn't a morning person and she loves blue.  Lastly, Rich said that he bought Will the 'manliest' he could find...snap dragons.  :)

In the past, I've always tried to get everyone dressed in coordinating clothes and get a picture.  I didn't even try that this year.  I wanted something more natural and I happen to love this picture.

Stroller Ride

Today I found Allie giving Rudy stroller rides.  It was so cute and he didn't mind at all.  I immediately went to grab my camera.  I was taking pictures when I smelled the smoke coming from the kitchen.  I found a completely black and shrunk grilled cheese that I had started making for Allie.  The house still smells like one of those bad diners you have to stop at sometimes when you are traveling on the highway.  Well, at least I captured the moment.  Oh, and yes, we were still in our jammies at 11.  We love our Tuesdays with nothing in our schedule.  :)

Super Bowl Fun

On Super Bowl Sunday we always eat dinner in the family room.  I wish I had time to dig up all the pictures from prior years.  It is a special treat to eat in the family room.  This year it was Nachos!!

One day in January the girls were having so much fun dressing Will up as a girl.  We usually try to discourage them doing this to him but they were having so much fun.  :0  Anyway, they were having him do a fashion show coming down the stairs.  He looks all happy on the stairs, doesn't he?  Then, he spots some cars at the bottom of the stairs....notice the abandoned purse on the right?

Oh, and, I have no idea where the girls get this from...

Snow

3 snow days this week!  I felt like we lived in Cleveland again with the amount of snow we had this week.
