We Are Thankful...

I love Thanksgiving day. It is great to have some time with nothing to do but spend time with family and be thankful for the blessings in our lives. When I asked the girls what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving, I was given these responses (in this order).

On The Road

Last Friday we started out on an 8-day trip. First, we went to St. Louis for the night as a stopping point on our way to Chicago for the weekend. W and his cousin Jack were baptized together at Jack's church. The boys were so cute together and looked so sweet in their white outfits. Now, we are in Indiana for a few days. This is our first time in Indiana since last Christmas. On Wednesday, we will make our way back to St. Louis and then home again on Saturday. There certainly is a lot to pack up for a family of 6! I will post many pictures when we get back home but here are a couple for now. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Off The Chart

W is a very big boy! He had his 2 month appointment this week and weighed almost 15 pounds! The doctor plotted his weight on the chart and then showed me how the dot was "off the chart!" It must be all of those night feedings!

This weekend E made her First Reconciliation. She was a bit nervous...who wouldn't be? She did a great job though and seemed very happy afterwards. Here is a picture of her before going to church.

Also, we went to our neighbor Jack's birthday party. He is turning 1 this week and is such a cutey. Before we headed out the door, I snapped a few pictures.

Dance Party

The girls love to dance! After dinner, we often play music for them and they have a dance party. Here is a video and 3 pics from a recent dance party. If you pause the music in the music box at the bottom of this page and listen to the video you will hear A saying "I am the princess, I am the princess!"

Also, I've included a couple of pictures of W because he is officially 2 months old today!

8 Weeks Old?

Just 8 weeks ago tonight, we were packing our bags for the hospital to meet W....well, he actually did not have a name at that time. I was wondering what he would look like, what we would name him and praying that everything would go well. Now, here he is 8 weeks later. This little face is so sweet and innocent. Time has gone by so quickly. We love him so much and can't imagine life without him and the girls. I need to remind myself that these days will go by so quickly and to cherish every moment... even the crazy times... and, yes, there are a lot of them!
