Disney Meet & Greets

I hope to get to my pictures soon but here are the meet and greet pictures.  These are all getting printed for their autograph books.  We had so much fun meeting all of these characters!

So old...

Last night was the daddy/daughter dance.  Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures because Rich had just gotten home from Brazil and we were very rushed.  I was able to get this one of all 4.  I think they look so old...how did this happen?

Life Is A Hallway

Today a friend called to tell me that Lightning McQueen was in town...but only from 12-6.  She called at 1:15.  We were all the way downtown by 2:00....we only had to listen to "Life Is A Hallway" like 10 times or so on the way there. 

I don't know how much more this little guy can handle....Buzz Lightyear one day, Lightning McQueen the next.  More pics coming soon...

Toy Story

I figured out that I fell behind on our blog around last July and it just keeps getting worse.  I always want to make new posts but think I need to catch up on everything from July until now first and that is just getting me more behind.  So, tonight I am going to blog about tonight.

We went to see Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice tonight.  Everyone loved it...especially Will.  During intermission he kept asking me if I was having fun and then saying he wanted to go back to the 'show'.  The girls wanted to make sure I took a picture of the 'huge bear' (even though he's the 'bad guy') and Will's absolute favorite is Buzz.  Here are some pictures....and, as a photographer, I must state that I took my ol' point and shoot and didn't even edit these pics....feels very refreshing actually.  :)  Oh, and yes, I do look just as bad in real life tonight as I do in that picture of me...but who could resist Will's sweet smile?

Yay For Me!

I feel funny making this post but if you are reading this blog it is because you are either family or a good friend so you will forgive me I'm sure.  :)  I have to be proud somewhere.  A couple of weeks ago I achieved a goal I had been working hard to achieve.  My application for PRO was reviewed and accepted by a panel of well-known professional photographers and now I can play along with and learn from them.  I was just denied this past September.  I actually knew I'd be denied at that time but wanted the feedback so that I could improve.

Also, I entered a little contest to win an online workshop.  The theme was green.  I had plans to do a 'green with envy' image at a local camera store.  Then, I decided that it was Wednesday, my day to spend with Will, and that we should do something more fun for him.  We went on a scavenger hunt throughout the house to find anything and everything green and we had fun.  I entered my image just in time and found out this morning that I won.  :)  Yay... $300 saved.  There were so many amazing and beautiful entries (more impressive than mine for sure) but they stated that I won because they loved that I included my child, worked so hard and that it was one impressive pile of green.  I think they also felt bad that I had to clean up that pile, ha.  :)
